
Is it cold in Melbourne or What !
I reckon Winter has just about permanently set in and ready to make lots of people lazy, miserable and turn to comfort food!
So, what are you going to do about it.
I know for one, that I use Winter as the perfect time to go hard in the gym.. to sweat out really good training sessions so I stay fit over the colder months and know that as it warms up again I will go into Summer knowing I put in the hard yards and that I will feel good in a bikini next summer!
People generally use winter as an excuse to stay rugged up at home.. yes it is nice to do that.. but before you go home and sit on the couch.. make sure you have done some training for the day! Don't let cold weather beat you.. just get the hell up in the morning and tell yourself you won't let tiredness, cold or weather beat you in the race to get fit! Compete against yourself and see how many days in a row you can get up as soon as your alarm goes off. Because really, getting 10 minutes extra sleep ain't gonna make you feel any better - more so worse as you will regret not just getting up and doing what you had planned to do the day before. You know all the broken promises you make to yourself.. tomorrow I will definitely get up and go for a walk.. today I am definitely going to eat well... blah blah blah..
At the end of the day the only person you are letting yourself down is you!
So get up, get pumped, get fit and stop making excuses! Just do it !
